To provide a more equitable learning environment for students, Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College now provides transportation for students to attend classes!
- Students will be picked up and dropped off at a designated location agreed upon with Land Grant staff. Location options are below:
- Zeba area-
- KBIC Head Start Building, 16489 Skanee Road, L’Anse, MI
- Zeba Hall, 16141 Zeba Road, L’Anse, MI
- United Methodist Church, 16024 Zeba Road, L’Anse, MI
- Baraga area-
- Ojibwa Casino Entrance, 16449 Michigan Avenue, Baraga, MI
- KBIC Health Center, 102 N Superior Ave, Baraga, MI
- Ojibwa Senior Citizens Center, 208 Main Street, Baraga, MI
- Zeba area-
- Transportation will be to and from the designated location to KBOCC facilities.
- In no circumstance will the driver take the students to the store or anywhere else to do errands etc.
- All pickups must be arranged a week prior to pick up. Some exceptions may apply depending on the availability of Land Grant staff.
- Schedule flexibility will be dependent on the number of students utilizing this service.
- Pickups and Drop offs will only be once a day in Zeba and Baraga areas.
- No transportation is available after 5:00pm.
