Sexual Assault Awareness Month
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, used to bring awareness about sexual assault and further educate our campus and community on how to prevent sexual violence. Sexual violence has been categorized as a serious public health concern in the United States as it impacts every community and affects all types of people. Through our efforts related to Title IX and other civil rights laws, KBOCC takes a proactive stance to prevent sexual assaults and to help survivors who are impacted. Every student has the right to go to school at KBOCC and be safe. No one should experience any form of discrimination or harassment, including sexual assault. For more information on Title IX at KBOCC, visit: https://www.kbocc.edu/about-us/title-ix/
